Message from the President
Nancy Rubin
October 2007
As we embark on a period of leadership transition at the agency, the MSW Board of Directors wants to make sure our friends and supporters are informed of our plans over the next few months.
First and foremost, thank you to Ann Harrison for her many years of service at MSW. Her departure marks the end of a very productive era for MSW, highlighted by the move to the larger Greenbrae facility and a tremendous expansion in MSW's programs. We are very grateful for her leadership of the agency over the past 8 years.
The plan for the recruitment of the nextExecutive Director of MSW will be developed by a transition committee. This committee willbe lead by the Board with extensive participation by staff representatives. We anticipate the recruitment and interview process for the new Executive Director will takesomewhere between 4-6 months.
We are pleased to announce that we’ve hired an Interim Executive Director to lead MSW during this transition period. Bruce Jack began as Interim ED on October 1st.
We are all proud of the wonderful work at MSW and are committed to working together to provide the best quality service to our clients and our community. So, we welcome Mr. Jack and look forward to what the coming months will bring to MSW.
Sincereley,

Nancy Rubin
President, MSW Board of Directors
