Job Description (Volunteer Position)

Title:Culinary Assistant
Supervisor:  Food Services Manager

Under the direction of the Food Services Manager, the Culinary Assistant will help with preparing healthy and delicious meals on a daily or weekly basis for residents and outpatients of Marin Services for Women.

Volunteer Job Description:

The kitchen at MSW is a fast-paced 24/7 operation that prepares 150 meals daily to nourish the women and children in our programs. This volunteer opportunity is ideal for someone who loves cooking or is looking for culinary experience. The days and times are flexible and weekends are a possibility.

Qualifications:
Experience working in food preparation
Dependable and punctual
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with MSW staff, clients and their children, and the general public
Ability to maintain confidentiality of clients and their children

Requirements:

People in recovery will need to have one continuous year of being clean and sober.

Volunteers will be required to have a background check administered by MSW
