Job Description (Volunteer Position)  

Title:     Special Event Volunteer

Supervisor: Volunteer Coordinator   

Under the direction of the Volunteer Coordinator, special event volunteers participate in special events intended to raise community awareness about MSW, fundraise and/or support MSW’s celebrations. Volunteers may be involved in one or more of the following:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Fundraising Events

• Annual Benefit Dinner
• Human Race
• Other small community efforts

Events at MSW:

• Holiday celebrations
• Graduations
• Open House

Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm
• Dependable to accomplish tasks on set schedule
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with MSW staff members, clients, and the general public
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of agency operations & clients
